Mass Transit Railway Hong Kong – the public transport network operated by MTR serving Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories.

Our relationship with MTR has been ongoing since the 1980’s and continues to this day.

We supply client specific locks and door handles, high performance door closers and accessories to the stations and administrative areas.

The Channel Tunnel is an undersea tunnel linking southern England and northern France; there are three tunnels: two rail tunnels, used for freight and passenger trains, and a service tunnel.

Construction started in 1988 and was completed in 1993. Currently operated by Getlink/Eurostar; Format supplied heavy duty locking systems and complimentary architectural ironmongery to the project and continues to provide products and services today.

Changi Airport in Singapore officially commenced its operations in 1981 and Format architectural ironmongery was used during its construction.

We are proud to have been associated with one of the world’s largest airports, where our products are in continual use to this day.

In its current form, the International Airport in Belfast was constructed in 1983. Format Architectural Ironmongery was supplied and remains in continual use today.

In 2023 work began on a significant terminal expansion where a new key control system and external door hardware was supplied.

Brunei International Airport was rebuilt in 1974. Format Architectural Ironmongery was supplied at that time and remains in continual use to this day with upgrading of products where required.
