Royal Holloway University, Egham, London founded in 1879, is now a public research university within the University of London.

Antique Brass finished door products were supplied to compliment the interior design of the Founder’s Building, which is widely recognised as one of the world’s most spectacular university buildings.

The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), established in 1895, is a public research university within the University of London.

Since the early 2000’s, the campus has undergone extensive refurbishments (to accommodate over 12,000 students) in many of its faculties and Format Ironmongery was selected by the Architects for its sturdy, low maintenance and finishing qualities.

Originally built in 1890, the university’s main campus is at the Old Royal Naval College, which along with its Avery Hill campus, is located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, London.

Format Ironmongery is in constant use across 4 of its main faculties and other Service buildings.

The Methodist College, Belfast in Northern Ireland was originally built in the late 1800’s as a girl’s boarding school.

The college is now a co-educational grammar school and in 2010, the boarding departments in McArthur Hall, were closed and converted into classrooms. Format supplied heavy duty ironmongery and locking systems in keeping with the requirements of this Grade B listed building.

We were invited to specify the new security requirements for the School in 2023 and now have in place a key control system that caters for many blocks within the campus with future expansion plans provided for.

Al Khor International School, Qatar is owned by Qatargas and was established to cater primarily for the children of Qatargas employees.

We were approached by the client to design and deliver a full wayfinding signage package for this large complex that incorporates 4 buildings with sports facilities for over 4000 students.

King Abdul Aziz University Campus is based in Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

It is the largest University in the Kingdom, with over 100,000 students.

Format stainless steel ironmongery and high security locking systems have been fitted to many of the on site faculties at the University.

Albena Lake-Hodge Comprehensive School is in The British Overseas Territory of Anguilla. In 2017 the school began redevelopment to accommodate 1200 students.

Working closely with the Architects (Design Collaborative Barbados) and the Client (Government of Anguilla), Format was selected to enhance the campus and over a period of 2 years; from 2021 to 2023, we supplied 9 separate blocks working with 3 different contractors.

The campus now benefits from a unique master key system with future expansions provided for.
